Waste Management and Williamson County are partnering with the City of Cedar Park to host the “Keen on Clean” Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Austin Community College, 1555 Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park. Below are lists of accepted and not accepted items, as well as guidelines for the collection. Residents should bring proof of Williamson County residency (driver’s license or billing statement).

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Victim Assistance Unit is gearing up for its second annual garage sale fundraiser. The garage sale benefits crime victims in Williamson County. The garage sale will take place on March 27, 2010 at 508 South Rock Street in Georgetown, TX.

Round Rock Office, 211 Commerce Cove - Tuesday, March 9
Georgetown Office, 904 S. Main St. - Wednesday, March 10
Taylor Office, 412 Vance St. – Thursday, March 11.
Cedar Park Office, 350 Discovery Blvd. – Thursday, March 11.
